History of the Center

The history of the formation of the State Institution "Republican Center for Organization of Medical Response"

The state institution "Republican Center for Organization of Medical Response" as an independent institution begins its history from the 80-ies of the ХХ century with the publication of the order of the Ministry of Health of the BSSR dated May, 28, 1975 № 115 "On the organization of an independent air ambulance station".

The task of the institution was to organize the provision of advisory specialized medical care to patients in medical and preventive institutions of the regions and Minsk by the teaching staff of the departments of medical universities and specialists of the leading clinics of the Republic.

In 2001, by Order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus № 144 dated June, 7, 2001, the independent air ambulance station was renamed to the state institution "Air Ambulance Station". In 2004, by Order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus № 265 of December, 3, 2004, the state institution "Air Ambulance Station" was renamed to the state institution "Republican Center for Emergency Medical Care" and registered by the decision of the Minsk City Executive Committee dated February 4, 2005 № 155 in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs under № 190263723.

At various times, the Center was managed by:

  • Tchaikovsky Arkady Fedorovich (no information available);
  • Kirilko Vasily Safronovich until 2005;
  • Poznyak Nikolay Nikolaevich, 2005 - 2006;
  • Suveev Sergey Ivanovich, 2006 - 2007;
  • Matyukevich Vasily Fedorovich, 2007 - 2008;
  • Nagorny Anton Eduardovich from 2008 -2015;
  • Doronin Vladimir Ivanovich from 2015 - 2017;
  • Bobrik Sergey Ivanovich, 2017 - 2018;
  • Valchuk Eduard, 2018 - 2021;

Since July, 22, 2021, the Center is headed by Alkhovik Dmitry Vasilievich.

By Order of the Ministry of Health № 309 dated 18.03.2019, in connection with the assignment of new goals, tasks and functions, the Center was renamed to the state institution "Republican Center for Organization of Medical Response".
