Ministry of Emergency Situations informs: an autonomous fire detector can save your life
Monday, 24 November 2025From November 24 to December 14, the Ministry of Emergency Situations is conducting a large-scale information campaign aimed at improving the level of household safety for the population. The main focus is on the effectiveness of autonomous fire detectors (AFD).
Why is this important?
Statistics confirm that AFDs are one of the most effective means of early fire detection. Just last year, thanks to these devices, the lives of 93 people were saved, 21 of whom were children. The device detects smoke at the earliest stage and emits a powerful sound signal capable of waking a sleeping person, which is critically important for rescue.
