Minsk is preparing to celebrate the City Day

In 2026, Minsk turns 959 years old. Over its centuries-long history, the capital of Belarus has gone from a small settlement at the crossroads of trade routes to a modern, dynamic metropolis and the center of the country's political, economic, and cultural life.
City Day is an opportunity to once again recall Minsk's rich historical heritage, pay tribute to its past, and express pride in the modern face of the capital.
